This text describes the ways we collect, store, use, and manage the information, including personal information. Please note that we are not responsible for the actions of third party people or companies, the content of their sites, the use of information you provide to them, or any products or services they may offer. Any link to those sites does not constitute our sponsorship of, or affiliation with those people or companies.
Ability to Accept.
By installing the App you affirm that you are over thirteen (13) years of age. If you are between the age of thirteen (13) and eighteen (18) years then, prior to installing the App, you must first review this Agreement with your parent or guardian to make sure that you and your parent or guardian understand its terms and conditions and agree to them.
Your Use of the App.
Your use of the App is at your own risks. By using it, you acknowledge that you have been warned about possible injuries caused by running or cycling. So please do it carefully and be sure not to overwhelm your limits. We also advise you to get a medical advise before you start doing any physical activity.
Information Collection and Use
If you create an account with your mail address, the first name, last name, country will be stored in our database. If you are logged in and make some workouts, the date, exercise time, distance, virtual FTP, average power, weighted power, average heart rate, maximum heart rate, training load, time spent in each intensity zone, best 5 seconds power, best 1 minute power, best 5 minutes power and best 20 minutes power will be stored for each of your training. The purpose of these informations is to make training history available to the end user in order to optimize his training.
Location Data
If the GPS option is enabled in the app, workout files containing GPS data are stored locally on your device (a '.fit' workout file will be created with power and heart rate values). The local files can be deleted if you clean the cache of the app. If Strava upload is enabled, workouts will be shared with Strava. The only reason why location data is collected (if enabled in the app), is to offer you the option to visualize your rides on a map afterwards either directly on Strava or on any other application, on which you can load the .fit files. The location data will not be shared with any other third party or stored online in our database.
Location in the background
If enabled, location can be used in the background (only while you are training) to allow you to switch off screen, to use another app at the same time in the foreground, or to still track your ride if the app is not in the foreground.
Strava Upload
You have the possibility to link the App with your Strava account and activate Strava automatic workout upload. You can deactivate this option in the Settings menu.
Bluetooth Access
We need to access Bluetooth functionality to scan for devices and ensure connection with external heart rate sensors.
Security
The security of your Personal Information is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
We may release your information as permitted by law or when we believe that release is appropriate to comply with the law; enforce or apply our rights; or protect the rights, property, or safety of us or our users, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection.
Changes to the Policy
We reserve the right to change this Policy at any time. In this case, we will post those changes through a new version of our App. This will inform you that our Policy has changed. If you continue using our App, this will mean you agree with our new Privacy Policy.
Data Modification and suppression
You have the right to modify or delete your personnal information. If you want to modify or delete information connected to you, please send us an email at contact@bipr.fr and we will do our best to process your request within reasonable time.
Please note that we don't have the possibility to delete information (such as workouts...) that has already been transmitted to third party services (Strava...). If you want to delete or modify information on third party services, please look at their own Privacy Policy and ask them directly.
Please note that "BIPR" is a registered trademark at the French INPI (Institut National de la Propriete Industrielle) with number 164310095. Public distribution of the app can only be done with our consent.
By using our App, you are expressing your agreement to this Policy and the processing of your data, including your personal information, in the manner provided in this Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please unistall our App and don't use it.
